I know that with all the excitement comes the responsibility of planning a major event that can be very stressful. That's where I can offer help and together we will reduce at least one part so you can relax and enjoy the moment.


I started Sound Design Mobile DJ's as a DJ for receptions. Today I have grown into providing sound and music for both wedding ceremonies and receptions with customized planning, new trends, styles and more.

Arriving at the reception, the entire day has been a whirl. 

And before you know it, it's time for your first dance. 

Suddenly time stands still and as the notes of your "special" song begin to play, you begin to dance......

Your wedding day is the story of the new beginning of your married life.



There are so many details to think about and to decide on. 

Do you have your ceremony and/or reception venue reserved? Officiant?

Did you choose your theme and color scheme?

Did you decide on your dress? 

 Invitations? Flowers? Food? Cake? 

 It’s no wonder that when most bridal couples decide to plan for their ceremony & reception entertainment, it is almost an after thought. 

Realizing this will be the first party you and your spouse will host and you don’t want someone just showing up and providing iPhone, iPod or a home-made stereo system and start blasting a music playlist do you?

I mean think about it, what importance does your entertainment hold for your entire wedding day? The higher the importance, the more service your DJ should provide, and the more you should value your entertainment.

From initial contact and a possible face to face consultation, we will discuss your dream, your vision for a great celebration, your ideas and begin planning your story. 

I will provide you with my Contract and Reception Timeline Music Planner during this time. This planner will provide me with information about you, your wedding party and give you the opportunity to note specific requests, and confirm any last minute details.

Your Reception Planner can be as vague or as detailed as you want. Some bridal couples prefer to have everything planned down to the last minute, while others are more casual and just want a party-like atmosphere. Your wedding reception won’t be like anyone else’s and you deserve to have your special day designed by you. 

With my experience, your individual taste, and working with your other vendors, we will transform your dreams into reality and give you memories that will last a lifetime.

And because your day is so extremely important, it will be the only event that will be booked so my entire focus and energy is on you and providing the best service possible.

 I will set up prior to your first guests arriving and will provide soft background music during their arrival, food service and as needed during the reception. 

Using your completed Wedding Reception Planner as a guide, I will be your emcee throughout the evening, making introductions, announcements and coordinating your reception activities to ensure things run as smoothly as possible.


During dinner, the song selection compliments the meal like fine wine. The music volume allows your guests to enjoy conversations with those at their table. I will help coordinate and announce all important reception events such as the announcement of the bridal party, cutting of the cake, blessings, toasts, first dances, throwing of the bouquet and garter removal so that your guests won't miss a single moment. 


Let's Dance!!


After dinner and the special dances are complete, the dance floor comes alive. As yours and guests song requests along with a variety mix of popular dance songs begin to play the floor begins to fill in celebration. I pride myself on being aware of guests’ reactions and responses to the music every minute and can respond accordingly to keep guests engaged and having fun.

As you dance to the final song, you will realize that besides your choice of lifelong companion, hiring me as your DJ was one of the the best decisions you made.
